Sparkling DOP Abruzzo Traditional Method wine from Montonico grapes, 60 months on the lees: fine, persistent bubbles, floral and mineral aromas. Abruzzo's historic grape variety in a sparkling version.
Sparkling DOP Abruzzo Traditional Method wine, made from Montonico, a native grape variety documented in Abruzzo since the 1600s and today a Slow Food Presidium. Bottle re-fermentation and a long ageing of 60 months on the lees, following the same principle as the classic method, build a fine, persistent perlage. The grape variety gives low sugar content, marked acidity and floral, mineral aromas. A bottle that brings a piece of Abruzzo's winemaking history to the table, for anyone looking for a distinctive sparkling wine beyond the better-known appellations.
