Organic Merlot IGT Colline Teatine, from the hills of the province of Chieti. Intense ruby red colour, with aromas of ripe cherry, plum and blackberry; on the palate it is soft and round, with velvety tannins and moderate acidity that make it enjoyable even when young. Organic cultivation, without herbicides or synthetic fertilisers, leaves the fruit its full character. Pairs well with flavourful first courses, white meats and medium-aged cheeses: a soft red, made for anyone who prefers gentle tannins.
